Paldi Fruttini Duo
The Paldi-Fruttini duo, formed in 1999, graduated at the High School of “Trio di Trieste” (Trieste, Italy) and at High Specialization Academy “Incontri col Maestro’” (Imola, Italy) respectively under the supervision of Trio di Trieste and of M° Pier Narciso Masi. The duo was awarded at the three competitions: “Città di Castiglion Fiorentino” (Arezzo, Italy), “G.B. Pergolesi” (Naples, Italy), and “Liburni Civitas” (Livorno, Italy).
GIOIA FRUTTINI graduated cum laude in piano at Conservatorium in Perugia, under the supervision of M° Petrucci. She subsequently specialized under the tutorship of famous musicians such as: Bruno Canino, Aldo Ciccolini, Franco Scala, Felix Ayo, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Andrea Lucchesini, Alain Meunier, (in the framework of the International Course for High Specialization at Accademia Chigiana in Siena, where she received a fellowship, and as an award she was invited to perform, and obtained a Special Mention Certificate) and Marta Gulias (“Cursos de Verano en Santander” promoted by “La Esquela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia” for Chamber Music in Santander, Spain). She successfully attended several National and International Competitions as piano solo (1st prize at “Rovere d’oro” at San Bartolomeo al Mare, Italy). She graduated in Music Subjects at the University of Perugia. She is currently attending a Course in Composition with M° Tonino Battista. She collaborates as a piano player and music consultant at the Associazione Endas Ensemble “Gloria Barbieri” in Bologna, Italy.
MICHELA PALDI graduated with top marks and Honors at Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. She specialized under the supervision of Aldo Ciccolini, and was awarded a special recognition. She intensively dedicated to Chamber Music and graduated at Accademia Nazionale Di Santa Cecilia with the tutorship of Felix Ayo. She attended the specialization courses of Riccardo Brengola, at Accademia Chigiana in Siena (she received a fellowship, and obtained a Special Mention Certificate), and of Dario De Rosa and Maureen Jones at the Music School in Fiesole, Italy. She collaborated at concerts with internationally famous musicians such as Alain Meunier (cello), Riccardo Risaliti (piano), and with orchestras such as “Filarmonici di Roma” and “Solisti Aquilani”. She obtained several national and international awards (1st Prize “Nino Rota” and “Franz Schubert”; award as best execution of the prescribed piece “Palma d’Oro”; Special Prize “Libero Lana” for the best Brahms sonata performance at the International Competition “Trio di Trieste”).
